The GPS device requests its longitude and latitude from the GPS satellite network at pre-programmed intervals. The device also collects other data such as "if the doors are open or closed"
The device then sends this data to the satellite network at pre-programmed times of day or on a pre programmed interval schedule i.e. every four hours
The satellite network then forwards this data onto the ground station receiver
The ground station receiver then transmits this data to Axscend’s secure servers. The GPS longitude and latitude positional data and other trailer data collect is then decoded and displayed on relevant customers web account.
